Although the land border crossings between Turkey and Armenia have been closed for many years,
regional diplomacy and the Zangezur Corridor agreement may make direct land trade possible in the near future. While currently,
most shipments from Turkey to Armenia travel through Georgia, the launch of this new process will enable
much shorter transit times and lower-cost logistics solutions.

- The Kars – Tbilisi – Yerevan routes. This route can provide time and cost advantages of up to 30% with the opening of direct border gates.
Near Future: Direct Access via Zangezur Corridor
Zangezur If the corridor is implemented and the border gates are opened:
- Transit time between Türkiye and Armenia may decrease to 1-2 days.
- Georgian transit costs are eliminated.
- Lower freight rates and more competitive logistics opportunities are provided.
- Faster door-to-door deliveries become possible.
